Galley Hatch Restaurant

I like visiting here when I'm going out with family. They do a great job serving large groups. You can also go in and just buy dessert from the counter in the front of the restaurant. They also offer a small gift shop.

This is a great local restaurant for me. I have been going there since I was a teenager...many years ago 😊 The food is consistently great, they have many specials daily and the staff is very friendly. I celebrated my #60 Birthday with my sisters and niece the other day. We were able to enjoy our time without feeling rushed. Our lunches were terrific... I had the biggest lobster roll I have ever had. I recommend the Galley Hatch for locals and tourists.

from a seafood shack to a really great restaurant, now with a new addition. prices are great, although, some families might be turned off going past the dessert displays at the front of the restaurant. we feel the restaurant has an identity problem. cafe tries to be trendy while the sit down sections are family friendly with great prices.

Absolutely incredible! Admittedly, this was not our first choice. We are not from the area and we were hungry after an outdoor event. However, regardless of everything that happened, I am SO happy we ended up coming here for dinner. The place is emasculate. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. But how is the food? Amaaaaazing! Our waitress, Kim, was very kind and gave us plenty of time to order. I asked her what she would pick, as I was stuck between 2 amazing choices. I decided to go with the fried haddock. My husband had the steak and cheese, and our daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. Of course, I always cut up my daughter's food first. I HAD to have a bite of her chicken. Oh my goodness, so mouthwatering and the breading is perfect! All of our food was perfect. I had a glass of sangria with my dinner and it was perfect. I surely hope to visit again someday. They say everything happens for a reason, so it was meant to be for us to come there tonight. On a side note, their little gift shop and dessert shop is so cute and cozy! It was late by the time we left, so the lobby area was closed. We will be back! The giraffe stole my heart!

Seafood was good. Wait staff had to be asked repeatably for drink refills. Wheat rolls we where told had to be made fresh. They came out and they where not hot and did not taste fresh. Tasted like reheat from frozen. Expected better.
