The worst company in Alaska. Thank goodness new technology is allowing for well run companies like Verizon and tmobile to get their game on up here. Finally got to cancel all my gci services today!!! Good riddance! Having a big party celebrating the money I’ll save and not having to put up with their ridiculous shenanigans anymore! Shame on you gci!

Very helpful and good at explaining exactly what I needed, would be billed for and the best part, why I would be billed for it. I didn't leave not knowing what my bill would look like and why.

Called last week about my phones warranty got told to go to a store and they can help. Go in today and they said call Samsung we can't help you. GCI is trash. I wish I never switched from ATT

Not very happy with currently trying to fix my grandma and grandpa's phone plan. Trying to get veteran grandpa in there but he has been bed ridden for a few months. Needs a replacement phone and we currently can't get that with out him being there. Visited dimond location twice to do this. First they tell me they need his ID and to talk with him on the phone. So they can verify and we can make changes to his plan. I tried but they just kept trying to get me to upgrade all there phone plans. When we are trying to take phones off there plans and make it easier on there monthly expenses. I go to abbot location unfortunately they could not proceed with anything. Any advice would help. Or do I really need to go through the steps to gain power of attorney?

People are very helpful. The Yukon TV program for local TV sucks. What's wrong with simple. Have to download apps, buy boxes, have a smart TV, set up special account. The list goes on. GCI as a company used to be simple, now they think they are something like Netflix

The store is much more helpful than trying to talk to customer service or tech support over the phone. That much I can say for the store. Though if you call tech support you most likely will end up having to talk to someone in either India, Phillipines or Thailand. Most likely whoever you talk to at the call center won't know anything. Not to mention the fact you'll likely wait over 30 minutes before you get to talk to anyone. Yukon TV sucks!!! Wish I could go back to regular cable but that isn't an option. For the 2nd time in 2 weeks I have audio with Yukon TV but no picture, just a blue screen. Thinking it is time to get a smart tv and disconnect GCI. If Russian forces ever do invade Alaska I hope they take out all GCI offices. It would be impossible to replace it with anyone worse. Just my two cents.
