George's Garage & Towing

Police called them because I had a flat tire. The tow truck guy offered to take it to his shop so they can fix the tire. They towed my car for 2.5 miles. From my location. The mean greedy lady in the front calls a receipt paperwork. She is disrespectful she was yelling at a really old weak couple. I felt bad for them I wish I stood up for them. She yelled at them because they wanted to know how long it would take. And they waited for over two hours. This place is a rip off. $149 tow $49 paper work $50 to take the car off the tow truck on their lot. I have a receipt, for proof. And they make you sign it otherwise they’ll add a storage fee. They won’t return your car. Because they think if they make you sign the receipt you agreed to pay. But that’s not the case no one agrees to pay. They just want to get the hell out of there. They will yell and scream at you. They don’t care who they are talking too, when it comes to money. They will intimidate you. I warn you BEWARE.

They picked me up after my car broke down on the NJ Turnpike. Despite being a holiday weekend and havinga busy pickup schedule, the staff was quick, curteous, and helpful. They offered us snacks and a place in the A/C until we could figure out our plans. Left the car with their team to repair over the weekend and they were very accommodating!

I am an Insurance Agent who prides myself in customer service, and have never been spoken to in this manner by anyone in my 14 years of business. I was yelled at, spoken down to, and hung up on after calling to verify insurance for a client. The customer service reps also refused to give me their names. I have reported this establishment to the BBB. Absolutely detestable behavior. Your complaint has been submitted and assigned the ID 12818080. Friendly staff ! Don't give 5 stars easily, was promptly towed when I was stuck on the turnpike about an hour from home. They towed my truck for a fair price $125 and the Lady working at the garage offered me a whole Sub after asking where the closest place to eat was. Thank you for your help and generosity it won't be forgotten.
