Fantastic historic gem tucked away in Catasauqua. Only got a condensed tour because we went during their Xmas event (too many people for much in-depth discussion), but I'm very excited to head back soon for the full experience. Tour guides/volunteers were very polite and knowledgeable. Definitely suggest this place for a free, fun and educational outing.

As of June 2017, there is an archaeological dig taking place in a wing of the house which was built over the home and kitchen of the first English settlers of the area. If open, it's worth a look. The rest of the house is well situated above the Lehigh and has good boards describing the Taylor family and the property as it was used and developed in the 18th century.

A beautiful and well maintained historical building.

The summer house of a singer of the declaration of independence. Great for historical buffs but tours are offered at limited times.
