Germain Dermatology - Dr. Marguerite Germain

I absolutely love Dr. Germain for both cosmetic and medical treatment. She is very down to earth and each time I see her I feel like I’ve known her forever. I very much appreciate that they take photos of your skin conditions each time you come in so as to document them for future visits regarding the same matter for comparison. They also send your prescription to whichever pharmacy will offer them to you the cheapest with your specific insurance policy, which is so amazing. No other medical office I’ve been to does that for their patients. The Rejuvenation Pads 5x (retinol pads) from her own personal line of skincare are amazing and I’ve purchased them a couple times now and have been very happy with the results. My husband has accompanied me to an appointment of mine as well and was very impressed with how Dr. Germain makes you feel like you’re right at home, patient or not. As a side note, I also ADORE Holly Carter, her PA. She is absolutely wonderful and so incredibly kind. Such an amazing group of gals and I’ll continue to only go to Germain Dermatology for my cosmetic and medical skin-needs! Love y’all!

Nice staff but they don't return phone calls. My son prescription was written incorrectly and the pharmacy couldn't fill it. The pharmacist tried calling them to correct it and I tried for an entire week. I never received a call back and my son still doesn't have his medication. Update 2/28/17: Dr.Germain called me personally to discuss what had happened. She was sorry that it happened and wanted to rectify the situation. I appreciated the fact that she called me and apologized herself. I will continue going to her office because there is something to be said about a business wanting to right a wrong. Plus, the staff is nice and knowledgeable.

Germain Dermatology is the best dermatology practice in Charleston! The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the providers are so knowledgeable. I will never to go another dermatologist for my medical or cosmetic needs! Their Summerville location is awesome too!

Amazing experience!! I was in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes and was seen by Louisa Floyd, PA-C. She was friendly, sincere, and knowledgeable. Her assistant Ali was fantastic. She knew her stuff and helped make the entire appointment seamless from check in to check out. She even walked me to check out to make sure i received all my products and took advantage of all the customer reward programs like Brilliant Distinctions. The check out lady was super patient walking me through all the programs as well. All in all, staff was incredible and I'm more than satisfied with the results of my appointment. Thank you to the Germain staff!

I got a facial from Ashley Dumler and it was amazing! I would highly recommend using her. She offers great suggestions too. I have always gotten excellent service from the desk receptionist, all staff and Dr. Germain. I have never had to wait any longer than 10 minutes so don't believe all the reviews about the wait. Dr. Germain is amazing and very helpful with all your concerns. She is super quick (which I LOVE) but also attentive. I would highly recommend going here.
