Giovanni's Restaurant

Classic Italian restaurant. Family owned from the start with family members working there. Very friendly, upbeat attitude. Live music on Saturday night was a fun time. The food was pretty good overall.

Planned a 60th birthday party for my wife there. A party of 20. Staff was very helpful and cooperative. Tiffany our one and only server was amazing. She was helpful, courteous and professional. She not only took care of our group but other tables in the main dining area. (Overworked from my point of view but still did an outstanding job). The food on the other hand was mediocre at best. Flounder & shrimp scampi were soaked in way to much liquid (I think it was butter or maybe margarine). If you're a vegetarian as I am pass this place by. (I do occasionally eat salmon if there is nothing else but that isn't even on the menu here).

An excellent Italian restaurant. It is the equal to any I have been in up and down the East Coast to include NYC. I especially enjoy their veal dishes. The Veal Sinatra is a must have. The portion for me = two meals. It is made with loads of fresh mushrooms and an excellent wine sauce.. The house salad dressing is as good as it gets. Plus the bread is crusts on the outside and soft and chewy inside, most Italian indeed. My wife always enjoys the creamy tomato sauce on a pasta dish. The pasta has always been properly cooked, not mushy but tender with a nice texture. The only short coming and mind you this is only a very minor thing is I wish they would serve some dry Italian herbs with the olive oil for dipping the excellent Italian bread. So I always bring my own herbs.

Giovanni's has good food that I always enjoy. Service is good. I always go with a large group and they always put us in a separate room so we can enjoy our time together without disturbing others and they are good about providing separate checks.

I have never had a bad meal at Giovanni's. Love the garlic bread, tomato cream seafood and the veal Sinatra. And, there's music on Friday night.
