Buck's Restaurant and Tavern

Buck's is an old favorite in Rising Sun. I have visited many times and the food is good. You can consistently get a good meal at a good price anytime you stop-in. The only reason I gave 3 stars was the dining room is a bit dated to the 90's/early 2000's and the duck was overcooked at my last two visits. The sauce for the duck is outstanding, but that doesn't help much when it's too tough. I will visit again and update.

Good: The restaurant side has good service and great food. While you can order from the menu on the bar side I would suggest ordering nothing more than appetizers as it is short staffed and busy. The bar side is more of the dive variety. There is a jukebox, shuffleboard,video games and Keno to keep you busy. There are a few tvs with various stuff on but nothing to talk about. Bad: I saw 4 or 5 pickup trucks out front with Rebel flags. We all know what type of person you have to be to display this racist garbage.

Mother's Day was very crowded. We were seated for our reservation late then asked to leave as soon as we were finished eating. The food was ok, but very highly priced.

Great place to go with family or friends or both. Friendly n helpful staff. Great food n variety of menu choices. Definitely recommend it.

Very good Burger & cold beer. Was their half price special.
