Glenwood Park

Please be AWARE and USE CAUTION. PLEASE READ TO THE END..My Mother died at Glenwood nursing home in......2009......and it was a nice facility rated number 1...My Brother was admitted in Oct. Of 2015 and we did not know that the facility was under different ownership and RATED at the BOTTOM of the LIST. My Brother was OVERDOSED at the facility and spent several hours in the ER to get his BP back up.. He Later CHOKED and was addmitted the PCH for SEVERAL days....LATER He was COMPLAINING with his bottom l was TOLD by the NURSE AND DR. to not worrie it was only a rash...I had him SENT OUT to a Dr. Outside the facility on 9.13.17..He arrived LATE and WAS NASTY DIRTY and was diagnosed with a BED SORE...On Oct.6 2017 my Brother CHOKED TO DEATH. THE FACILITY IS UNDERSTAFFED AND POORLY OPERATED WITH NO AIR CONDITION IN HEALTH CARE.....IF YOU HAVE A LOVED ONE NEEDING HELP PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE.

Clean, well staffed, everyones friendly. The administration is very helpful in All your needs. Some rooms are semi-private, and some are private. There's views of the Glenwood Park recreation area where there's trails, fishing, paddle boating, shelters ( covered ), and places THROUGHOUT the park for picnics and grills. They have miniature golf, and two playgrounds on premises. Bring your families or friends. Must warn you, NO ALCOHOL IN ANY PART OF PARK!
