Grand Geneva Resort & Spa

We; my fiance and I; absolutely love the Grand Geneva! This has become our vacation spot; as well as our not so secret getaway spot. The staff is always nice, polite, and willing to do whatever they can to help you enjoy your time here. The restaurant The Chophouse is phenomenal and has great views along the balcony of the property. There are some really nice events always taking place and going on too. (Sip and paint is lots of fun). Definitely a great place to go and get away. Just far enough away to feel like a vacation, yet close enough to home in case you feel homesick or have an emergency.

Wonderful rooms and staff! Kids can reserve fun activities such as making slime or stuffed animals while grown ups can do a history class on the hotel or the paint and sip. Ava and Grace were very good at watching kids on science night while grown ups were at the paint and sip! The views from the hotel rooms were beautiful and there are many family activities like the Downtown Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Waterpark, Grand Geneva activities, the many pools, and the Dan Patch Farm.

Attended a conference there. Rooms are nice as are conference facilities. Also enjoyed the outdoor bar and fire pit along with the walking paths. Overall a beautiful place particularly in the spring as all the trees and flowers are blooming. Only issue was the first room I was given was already occupied by somebody

This place is so cool. If anyone reading this has ever been to House on the Rock this is like the hotel version of that...I'm not sure how else to explain it. The rooms are nice. The place is quiet for the large number of guests it accommodates. I stayed here while traveling for work but I saw a lot of postings about different things to do, including a lot of family friendly evening events. There is always something interesting to look at. This is on the pricey side (but usually when I'm traveling for work I stay in Hilton or Wyndam hotels so that's for comparison, so pricey compared to those) but definitely could be a one stop spot for a vacation. There are several restaurants and bars inside the grounds and a water park, which I unfortunately did not get the chance to visit.

The hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Club don't have chain locks on them. Which is how we usually keep our toddler from escaping. The hotels are not child safe! Other than that, everything was fine, I guess. It's not over yet though.
