Grassroots Ice Cream

Amazing ice cream with a very eclectic selection. It's very crowded and noisy at peak hours or after kids games, but in a fun way! Staff is abnormally cheerful and helpful, not often that I say that, lol. Servings are large and getting a 3 scoop variety choice is the only way to sample the addictive flavors. Pre-packed ice cream is available for takeaway!

Small ice cream parlor in the heart of Granby, CT. They offer flexible hours and fair pricing. All of the ice cream is homemade and flavors tend to change weekly. I am willing to drive across town just to come here as there is nothing that compares. You can taste the freshness in the ice cream and that there aren’t a ton of preservatives. Can get crowded on the weekends, but staff is very friendly and the pricing for what you get is very fair.

If you enjoy ice cream, Grassroots takes it to a whole new level. There are flavor combinations in here that will leave your taste buds dancing and your brain confused. Never had a bad flavor. Who knew goat cheese ice cream was something I needed in my life? The one thing I'd say is that they need more seating because they are always mobbed. Definitely worth a stop.
