Sweet Spot Bake Shop

I was very displeased with not only the cupcakes but also the service here. After ordering 3 dozen cupcakes for my sons party 2 weeks in advance and putting a deposit down I also had a pick up time. When it was 50 minutes BEFORE pick up time I called to check what my balance was and the father ( I believe it’s a father and daughter business) instructed me he had no idea my order had even been taken by his daughter 2 weeks prior. He asked if I could push back the pick u time I asked until when being that my sons party started at 3 and was not in the area. He then stated that he would be starting the 3 dozen cupcakes now ( after 11 am) and that he would call when they were done. Before hanging up I said I sent an emailed picture of what I wanted on top of the cupcakes the night before an wanted to know if they had received it. He said as long as I sent it to the email address it was fine an hung up. At about 2:15 pm I get a calling letting me know that my cupcake order was complete, I politely asked what they would be able to do for this inconvenience they said a half dozen cupcakes. I said ok and picked my cupcakes up and tried to make my sons party on time being that it started at 3 and I was on my way there when they called to say that there were done. When it came time to cupcakes at the party the real dissatisfaction was that all of the chocolate cupcakes were NOT cooked all the way through and the frosting was poor put on them. I feel that because they missed my order, they then turned around and rushed to make it. When my husband called to let them know how disappointed and displeased we were ( no kid ate there cupcake and we came home with almost 2 dozen) all they offered us was $20 or another batch of 2 dozen cupcakes. We are highly disappointed and dissatisfied with their customer service here and hope in the future they treat there customers better and hopefully someone else’s party won’t be ruined liked ours.

Love their cupcakes. This location is easy to miss. Once you see Tunxis Grill, you'll know you're there.

I bought the Jamaican Rum Cupcakes and the Yellow Butter Cupcakes and they were awesome!!! I'm definitely ordering some for my 30th Birthday next month.
