H-E-B Grocery

I have always been a devoted shopper of the "other" store. I shopped HEB every once in awhile, when it was convenient. I can honestly say that since this HEB opened, I have not gone into the other store once. HEB has everything I need or could want. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. No complaints about the prices either. Not only are their prices lower, they have great specials constantly. The HEB brand of items are the only off brand that is actually good, some items are even better than the name brand. I absolutely love shopping here and have no need to go anywhere else.

I've worked here before and although HEB Lake Jackson provides many benefits, I think their management requires more of a personal connection. I understand that this place is huge and they have quotas to meet but you don't meet quotas by standing around gloating and cracking the whip at overworked employees, which is what they spend at least 4 hours of their workday doing. I still get flashbacks to my time here when I visit. I know Kroger is more expensive, but the atmosphere is much better for me, persinally.

Very neat and clean. Staff was helpful and kind I would recommend this store to anyone and definitely shopping here more often while in town.

I always have a good experience when i go however i was very disappointed that the bavarian hazelnut coffee beans were out this makes the second time that it's happened but that will not keep me from shopping here. I LOVE MY HEB!!!

{{Edit --they brought back his beer (Holland) --}}******would give 6 stars if it were an option!!***** Always a pleasant experience at this H-E-B!! Now if they would bring back my husband's favourite beer!! (Holland)
