H-E-B Grocery

Really big! Of course, everything is big in Texas! Stopped in to pick up a few things while on our way from California to Florida, and when we walked into the store, we were simply overwhelmed by the variety of choices because this is More like s marriage of a warehouse store and a supermarket. There were some unfamiliar brands, as well as some old favorites. I think it's a very nice store and the people at the checkout were very nice.

I placed a pick up order for the first time with H-E-B last week. I've use other grocery outlets for this purpose recently, but I have to say that it was a great experience! All of my groceries were brought out in a timely manner. The girl who was assisting with putting my groceries in my car was very sweet & was smiling, it was only 40° outside! I don't think that I would have been smiling!! Overall really good experience, I will be using this service with them frequently now. Thanks! (FYI you're allowed to tip, but the employee doesn't ask for it, so I tipped her!)

I really enjoy this HEB store even though online in Bryan. The have more available to the consumer than the HEB in North Bryan however, that's because the demographics are very different. This HEB store caters to everyone but has their College students in kind as well since they are the majority that shops there. When the students are on Holiday or getting ready for exams at the end of the year, they will be dead throughout until the day before or the day they start back to school then it's busy as usual even at 2am. And I can't say enough about the employees since they talk to you and always ask if you're finding everything you need & if you tell them you can't find something and they will stop what they are doing and walk you tongue product(s). Very friendly and very helpful.n

This review is solely in reference to their floral department. I ordered a corsage for my daughter for a daddy daughter dance. She’s still little and I specifically asked for a wrist corsage because I didn’t think a pin one would stay on. My husband shows up to pick up the corsage and it’s a pin corsage. I got on the phone with the lady (who was very nice when I ordered) and when I asked her about it, she said there is nothing she can do about it and handed the phone back to my husband before I could respond. She walked away from my husband to “help another costumer” and that was that. I had already paid and was stuck...I will not be using them again.

Great friendly staff! Store is arranged in a logical way, especially when shopping starts in produce section, ending with dairy at opposite corner of store, then frozen foods, adjacent to central checkout. Curbside pick up for groceries ordered online is super convenientDigital coupons make saving money a snap! Consistently great quality in fresh departments. My favorite grocery store!
