Food is delicious! I love the exotic seasonings. Large portion sizes and great price. The sampler plates are a great way to try many things. I apologize that I cannot recommend specific items. This is because I cannot remember or spell them! :) I have eaten her twice and enjoyed the experience very much. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If there is something on the menu that you don't understand, just ask!

I had the hummus dip as an appetizer and it was excellent! I came back again and had the chicken kabob which was very good. The out door patio is nice when the weather is good and they also have indoor seating. No complaints at all, highly recommended!

We have been to The Heart of Jerusalem in Manitou Springs, Colorado many times. The food is pretty consistent, great flavors and tasty also there is a lot of it! We always take home half of our dinner for a second supper the next night! The restaurant is small and older looking with very dim lighting which is good for hiding the "wrinkles" but maybe not so good to see what your eating. The waitresses are always pleasent, helpful and if they're not too busy very talkative. The only complaints I have is be careful asking for extra sauce or hummus because they do charge for it and it can add up! Also, in the Manitou restaurant the bathroom is very, very very small and you have to go up a few stairs past the kitchen which is hard for the disabled or people with limited mobility like me.. If you go, enjoy the Wonderful Middle Eastern flavors and abundance of food plus the Sage Tea and Baklava!! Dress very casual. 👍

Mostly excited to find good vegetarian options on Manitou Springs! The place isn't the most attractive, but who cares when the food is so great! The iced sage tea is a must! I wanted to bring gallons of it home. Reasonable prices and you get a lot for what you pay. $10 for the veggie platter, and it's huge and every bite delicious.

Really, really great Mediterranean food! Best falafel I've had. Try the sage tea, very refreshing iced. Friendly service. Highly recommend The Heart of Jerusalem. Wish there was a cafe this good back home.
