Hepner-Hart Horse Training Stables/GlenMar Horse Camp for Kids

I highly recommend Margo’s horse lessons and camp. My 10 year old daughter started at horse camp and has continued regular lessons all year. She will return to horse camp again this year. In her own words: "Margo is an awesome teacher and great with horses. Margo’s horses are wonderful horses and a pleasure to ride. Horse camp is by far the best camp I have ever been to and it’s lots of fun."

We met Margo two years when my then 8 year old enrolled in horse camp. Upon completion of the camp, both my 8 and 13 year old began lessons and they continue to this day. Margo teaches children proper care of horses from their heads to their hooves in addition to proper riding. She cares deeply about the horses and about passing on the great tradition of horse riding to everyone who is willing to learn. The lessons my children have learned from Margo will last a lifetime in and out of the show ring.

We've been attending classes here for years. Mrs. Hart is a skilled and thoughtful teacher, finding her students' strengths and improving upon them. Her horses are happy, her stables are clean, her students go on to shows and awards. What an enriching experience!

My granddaughter has enjoyed every lesson with Margo. It has truly been a great learning experience. I am so glad her lessons began with Margo.

With 15+ years out of the saddle, I was excited and a little nervous to start up again. A friend recommended me to Hepner-Hart Horse Training. My first lesson with Margo left me feeling on top of the world. The horse was a perfect fit, safe but challenging, one that I continued to take lessons on for about 6 months. Having reignited horse fever, I began leasing a horse at Hepner-Hart Horse Training and continue to take lessons with Margo. Everyone at the barn is such a joy to learn from, we all share a mutual love for our horses and our sport. The barn provides a laidback, no drama feel with high level of education and care for horse and rider. The horses are on 24 hour turn out, which they love, stalls are available when needed/desired. I highly recommend Hepner-Hart Horse Training for anyone looking for riding lessons and/or horse boarding/training.
