Had an excellent experience ending a minivan from Hertz PDX. Pickup process took 5 min tops and the car was the one I had reserved. Drop off was even easier. Would definitely rent from them again.
Was charged $325 plus $44 for insurance to rent a Wrangler for 3 days. Was supposed to get a deposit back never got. Emailed them twice a week ago and never heard back. Car was very dirty when I got it. The lady who helped me was very nice.
Wife is currently at the airport hertz counter. They can't seem to find our reservation even though we have the confirmation email and J number. I'd personally suggest going elsewhere. You can get a better deal and customer service at Thrifty or Alamo. Also they seem to honor their reservations. Hertz not so much.
Brandon’s efforts saved the day. Flew in for Valentines, during the recent winter storm. Note was to go to counter, no 4x4 as reserved and had to cross pass to Cannon Beach area. No need to be upset, Brandon Fixed immediately and went on to help the next customer, crazy storm but amazing job stepping up to keep everything moving!
Originally had a compact car and when we arrived they said they were doing a special so we upgraded for only “$180” more. We called to verify 2 days later. Return the vehicle a week later and end up getting charged $643 more. Called to fix the problem and they said they can’t do anything about it.
Good deal on car rental. I like how rental car agencies let you pick from a handful - let's my wife have control. Been a gold member for years. Love that the program has only gotten better ...
Zero compassion for families dealing with a death. Rude, unhelpful, and embarrassing. Would not recommend PDX Hertz
Easy peasy....as a gold member my name was on the board with my vehicle slot number so just jumped in, checked out at the gate attendant and on our way!!!
