Hinode Japanese Steak & Sushi

We love going to Hinode and always love the food. My son and I go at least once a month. However, tonight, my 8(!!) year old son was given an adult steak dinner costing $22. We have never had to specify that my 8(!!!) year old child is ordering from the children’s menu. As a single parent and social worker, it’s a blessing to be able to take my son to eat, period. I’m a former server and can tell the “run up the bill” behavior is to increase tip amount. Kind of a shame since we have been loyal customers until tonight and I always tip more than 20%. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I have been to this location many times and have always been pleased, both with the service and the food. If you are going during the evenings or the weekend, expect a wait. However, once you taste the food, you'll realize the wait was worth it. Sometimes it takes a while for the chef to show up after you get seated, but the staff always keeps your drinks full in the meantime. Expect to smell like hibachi after you leave - your clothes, your hair, everything. Especially when their fans aren't working and the smoke just hits the ceiling and comes back down. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this place. The food is great, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. I love it!

I had an excellence experience at this establishment and I would encourage others to invest their time and money into this restaurant. The staff was more than polite and they made sure our table had what we needed and if not he was quick to retrieve what we had asked for. The food that we were served was amazing and filled with flavor. There was a perfect blend of spices and the meat was cooked well. I am hoping to return soon and try something new.

First time going and not only is the food amazing and wonderful but so is all of the satff! Love this place and would recommend it to everyone! And I can assure you that you will not go home hungry from here it's one meal course after another, more food than you can imagine and the best at that too! Our personal chef was the most fun and entertaining chef Iv ever met or had anywhere and fun to be around as well! 5 stars isn't enough for this place is give it 100+ without a doubt! Very very happy and pleased :)

Awesome food and our chef was hilarious and good. The prices are what you can expect from this kind of restaurant. The building is a little run down and you feel packed in when they are busy.
