Nakato Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Food was excellent! Rice was cooked perfect, eel was sooo delicious! They had small boats traveling around on the bar/table where we were sitting. Salmon was perfect! Smoked salmon was delicious! No complaints at all here. Restaurant was clean both inside and outside. Even though the parking lot looked packed, there was plenty of room inside. The prices seemed really expensive but the plates were very large and plenty enough to split between two people. No complaints about the food here. Freshest most delicious sushi I have ever had.

All 5 of these stars are for the sushi chefs at the sushi bar because they are badass and deserve this review! I am very disappointed with the service, the waiters and waitresses would stand around and talk a lot! It seemed like none of them really wanted to be there they were just getting a paycheck! And this is very surprising since I have been here numerous time and always receive good service but this is the first time I've set at the sushi bar! Maybe a better service plan should be in place?

I have been coming here since the opening week. I love this place. Great sushi, great food. If you like whiskey you should try some of the Japanese whiskey. Or the Fuji apple sake. Thank you Justin and Jeremy for making my experience the other night one to remember. I will be back very soon.

I've been going to Nakato since they first opened in Springfield and they've consistently delivered amazing food and service over the years. Their hibachi is incredible and so is there sushi (especially the Jenni roll). For those who have said they are too expensive, remember that you get what you pay for. Their seafood is the freshest around and they don't skimp on portions.

We always eat here when we visit Springfield! You get a large amount of delicious food! I always get chicken, you get a soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, noodles, veggies and rice! We ordered the Jenni Roll for our sushi order that we split. The spicy crab on top of the roll was so good. As always we had a to go box. I would highly recommend that you call ahead and get reservations because they are always busy and are normally only opened for dinner.
