Nice little hike up to the hole in the wall. This is located right next to the Phoenix Zoo. Go early, before it gets hot, and before there’s too many people with small children. If it’s over 100’ DO NOT bring small children, the rocks are hot, and they will get dehydrated very fast. FYI: Hiking with small children... is always more enjoyable in the 70-80’ temps. 🧒 👶 FYI: If you bring fido... if it’s too hot for you to stand barefoot on the ground, well then it’s too hot for Fido 🐕 🐶 🐩 FYI again, bring lots of ICE WATER to drink. 💦

This is an unique feature. The view of Sonoran desert and Phoenix city in distant is amazing. Watching sunset from the place is an unforgettable experience. Tourist attractions like Phoenix zoo, Desert botanical garden are very close to the place. One can go for hikes in the adjacent hills also. The place also has some archaeological importance.

A nice place to visit next to the Phoenix Zoo and Botanical Garden. It's a real feel for the beauty of the Arizona desert nature and a beautiful view from the top at the hole. It has small lakes near by at Papago Park for quiet fishing and nice trails to experience the surroundings. Take plenty of water like any day in the valley

This was a fun little place. Good climbing spot. Short hike up to the hole and then you can look down on the zoo, which is very close by. Then you can go to a little pond and feed the ducks if you want. Anyway definitely 5 stars!

My kids loved this. The edges were kind of sketchy. But they stayed inside the hole. I saw people scaling down the front which was crazy! But hey whatever works! Bet they had fun! I did this in sandals and holding my 1 year old . Amazing views. Going back this weekend with better shoes so we can rock climg.
