This is my go-to place for a sit down meal--one of the few in town. This visit, I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich. I'd had it before a while back, liked it. This time? Awful. The whole thing tasted (and looked) like it had been poured out of a can, potatoes included. Wisely, the waitress didn't ask me how my meal was. The menu contains better items. Avoid the hot roast beef sandwich. The cup of clam chowder, however, was awesome.

We visited over the Mother's Day weekend. It was busy but the service did not suffer. My husband and I really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the Flat Iron Steak and it was cooked perfectly and it was so tender. The staff was attentive and professional with a smile. The salad bar was a nice touch. If we go back to Blanding, we would definitely go back

Our meal was good, no complaints their. The dessert could have been a little bit better but it wasn’t bad at all. My only real complaint with this restaurant was the service. Half the time I didn’t know I didn’t know who was our waiter or if we even had one. When we arrived the restaurant had plenty of empty tables but it still took several minutes to get seated. No one ever checked on us to see if the meal was to our liking and trying to get another glass of water was a bit difficult. Overall I would recommend this place if you are staying within walking distance but if you are driving through their may be better restaurants.

Definitely priced for the tourists. Food was good but not great. Steak was a bit overdone and not especially tender for a ribeye (probably due to the medium well finish). The cup of alleged chili was probably a can of Bush's chili beans - the meat was almost invisible and the seasoning bland. My wife's Navajo Taco was very tasty, since the "chili" on it did provide the traditional beans. We did go back once for burgers - they were very tasty but also overpriced.

Today my friend and I ate at Homestead for the sixth time in six days. It's just about the only sit down restaurant in town, so it doesn't have to be great, but it is! We've had veggie burgers, sandwiches, steak, chicken fried chicken, Navajo taco, and country fried steak and it was ALL delicious! Oh, and so were the chocolate cake, blackberry cobbler, and fried ice cream! The service is friendly and efficient, and Rydawn, Marci, and Justina treated us like family! We'll be sure to return on our next trip through Blanding!
