The Miso was cold. The sushi was over-priced for really bad quality it had a very horrible smell to it. Some of it not even edible. Very unimpressed.

I was very happy to find that Kaya had reopened. Although under new ownership, Kaya has been able to maintain their great, authentic taste. I believe everyone should come here to try the appetizers, all the way to the entrées and sushi dishes. The owner is extremely friendly and interactive and gives free samples of sushi and other dishes to every customer who comes in. He used to own a sushi restaurant in downtown Chicago, so you can certainly taste that sushi is his personal specialty. It tastes AMAZING! It's very fresh and flavorful. The owner is looking to expand his menu with more dishes for everyone to try as time goes on. I would hate for this little hidden gem to close down once again.

The sushi was not fresh the ginger smelled like a public restroom the miso soup was cold I expected better
