I've been a member of the Credit Union for at least 30 years! I haven't had one bad experience! I've had several vehicles & signature loans. All employees that provided services for me were extremely, professional, knowledgeable, patient & skillful. Even those helping with phone calls referencing account information are always supportive. The drive through is awesome, one time I missed counting my cash correctly. I had more money than listed on the deposit slip, the teller informed me. Trusting staff at Houston Police Federal Credit Union, we appreciate each of you!
I've been with HPDFCU since 2006, and it has been an incredible journey that I will continue to take. I wanted to refinance my car, and it took approximately 30 minutes to get approved, sign forms, and close the deal. My car note is now 400 dollars cheaper per month, and I have a much lower interest rate. These guys are the best all the way around!
Well, I used the drive thru and was amazed by the awesome customer service on 04/11/22 12:07 pm It was pretty fast for me. I usually like to walk into the credit union. The teller was awesome. There was no name on receipt to compliment her. I’ve been here at the credit union for over 30 years, and still have no regrets. I actually drive 4 hours every 4-5 months to do business at the credit union. It’s worth the drive. Thank You guys for making us feel special.
Rude and hostile customer service! Always called me with an attitude and never gave me accurate information about my account.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The amount of times that I have called to ask a simple question and received a completely irrelevant or incorrect answer is ridiculous. I called three different times to ask the same question and received several different answers to the point that I just came into the branch and asked in person. They make mistakes and don’t take accountability. The have an attitude on the phone when you ask questions. I left my drivers license while depositing a check one day and was not Informed or contacted until 6 months later. Every-time I need something resolved or have a concern, I can’t even count on my credit Union. All they cause is stress and confusion. To be honest I wanted to keep this off of their reviews and I emailed the supervisor committee a few times already over the past few weeks and have yet to hear from them. However I see here that I’m not the only one with this problem. All I wanted was for my concerns to be acknowledged but I’m a fool for expecting anything but the bare minimum from HPCU. Save urself the trouble and do ur banking elsewhere :
I LOVE the Houston Police Credit Union and they definitely love their first responders and families. I handle all of my banking needs here and would highly recommend to any officer or city employee. Can't beat a "real" Credit Union with sooooo many Great Perks!!!
HPCU has changed my life! Saving me THOUSANDS! It started when I opened my account, my credit wasn’t great at all, but once I did my part they were able to approve me and now all my business is with them! Thank you so much!
I requested a new debit card via their secure message center on 09/27. I received a message back that said my request had been submitted on 09/28. It’s 11/29 and I haven’t heard anything since. I have also not received a new debit card. Why have a secure message center if requests submitted via this portal are not taken seriously? Aside from that, this credit union offers great rates on everything! Probably just have to call in instead of sending messages if you want quick service.
Love this bank very helpful and always there when needed ! Changed my life in the best way I wish I would have known sooner about y’all keep up the great work helping people better there lives !
Since system upgrade in February, I have experienced numerous issues to the pointI I no longer recognize my once revered credit union. It’s so sad how bad things have gotten. Seems they have hired a call center to field the numerous complaint calls that are coming in. I’ve been with the bank since 1989, and never has it been this bad. Total disappointment!
