I took 15 bags of pennies that I’ve been saving up since my childhood and I wanted to trade it for gold bars. The security guard wouldn’t let me in because he said I can’t come in with a Foodarama shopping cart. I don’t like this place.
Take a free tour to see who makes your money and how its spent. Its wheelchair accessible, right at the front door. WOW. The security guards are a bit stern but then maybe they have to be. They were helpful to me. As i'm in a wheelchair, its hard for me to go places. So this is just across the BBP, under the Police memorial Bridge, and across at Gillette St. and Allen Pkwy.
James Colunga is a wonderful, professional tour guide and employee of the Federal Reserve Bank-Houston Branch. I am a current professor at Lone Star College-CyFair and he always accommodates my Federal Government students. He takes time to clearly explain the Federal Reserve and to answer all of their questions in-depth. He never rushes a tour and is always so welcoming. Their staff/employees are kind and courteous. It was well worth the trip. My students really like Mr. Colunga.
The fed and irs is a privately owned entity that profits on stealing your money from taxes and interest rates for the bankers own gain, only for them to lie to you and tell you its being used for "roads" and "schools". Do your research dec 23 1913... Even the governmen is charged interest on the money that the federal reserve prints.
Why do we need this stupid building when we have crypto? Get outta my city!
Such a beautiful bank.. I love the exclusive partner events hosted at the bank.
Tried to get a loan here and they just slammed the door on me...very rude. This is why I like credit unions.
very unique building
Great to visit to learn about how money is printed
This place is one of the biggest sources of theft and deception in the United states.
