So I forgot my wallet at home and i needed to deposit money. They simply refused despite me showing them my ID on my phone as well as logging into my chase app. An inability to help a customer who just wanted to put money in the bank.
This is a convenient bank in Midtown. It's located on McGowen between Louisiana and Smith Street. It's a nice facility with friendly, helpful bankers. There is a UPS store across the street. I can take care of my shipping and banking errands in one trip.
I have banked with chase for over 10 years. I went to this branch to get a cashier’s check and then get a chase auto loan document notarized. No issues getting a cashier check. The banker who is the notary said he had a meeting coming in in 2-3 minutes that will last an hour and so he couldn’t notarize my document. The client wasn’t even there yet. Notarizing a document takes 60 seconds. Terrible customer service.
This location closes it’s ATMs after hours in order to sell parking. While the selling parking is not an issue, it’s annoying that the ATMs are closed building and drive through.
The banking hours at this location do not match the needs of customers. They don’t match what’s posted on their doors and do not match what consumers and businesses need. Please I welcome you to check their hours online and then at their physical location. This is completely inconvenient. You should see the looks of folks when they walk up to their doors and the drive thru.Overall, it’s disappointing.
Great location for a bank in Midtown. I could see Chase on top of building from a block away at night. I had to drive around the building to get to ATM. There is also a walk-up ATM but I was lazy. Lucky me. There was no one else waiting. I was in and out of here quickly. Thanks for being there, Chase Bank.
Wait time is ridiculous to see a banker. Hopefully the branch can have more than two bankers available on a busy Friday to accommodate its customers. Or give the tellers more responsibilities to assist the customers so that wait times don't exceed more than 20 minutes.
Multiple negative experiences with staff in recent months
Been coming to this location for few years now always friendly welcoming staff..had some fraudulent activity on my acct recently and Banker G.Lopez assisted me professionally and promptly which was much appreciated as the situation was very nerve wrecking..this is my preferred location in houston. Any staff member who have assisted me at this location do so in a courteous and professional manner..thanks to all
I paid for a foreign currency USD to CRC exchange becaues i will be traveling. The Chase bank gave me 4 extreamly large denomination bills. I stated i cannot use these large bills to pay for a taxi, bus or food. Stores & businesses would not have the ability to change the large bills. Disgusted that I was charged a fee for these unusable large bills. This is extreamly poor customer service.
