I choose to bring my younger sibling to this location to open a bank account unfortunately we where told the process would be much faster online when we where already at the location and i quote to the white young man who attended us “ it’ll be faster online rather than doing it here it will take some time “ .. mind you I knew doing an account online would give us some type of error or stop which it DID! moral to this review if someone is at the location wanting to open an account you help the customer you serve your duties as a banker/employee.. I do not recommend this location sucks because I love chase
I booked an appointment at this location and they assigned Crista Francis to assist. She called me to ask for the reason of my visit while I was in the meeting and when I asked her to connect later to discuss she cancelled my meeting when she specifically said she will email all the details. This behavior is highly annoying.
The staff here at this location makes handling business a breeze. They are so wonderful, they aught to teach other branches, how to be nice and yet stay professional..
This bank is designed with the future in mind. I walked in and didn't see any tellers. Two large computerized ATMs occupied the center of the lobby. The teller window was in the back colocated with the drive thru teller. I like the modern design and the spacious lobby. It's located in a convenient location at the corner of Washington and Studemont.
BRENDA, VANESSA & REUBEN solved our problem and saved us money. Ah, my tale of woe! A few months ago, we had to change our credit card numbers several times why is another story. We did not update the last card number on our Amazon account. Well, we went on a long road trip, and one morning a Chase credit man called to tell us our account was badly overdrawn. Turns out, when the credit card gave out, the charges went to an old Chase account we hardly use and keep little money in. As soon as we got back, went to our Chase branch. They were able to get the overdraft charges reversed, and quickly settled the difference. Thanks to our three bankers. This is the very best Chase branch!
This is the best Chase bank location ever because of the people here. I moved from a tiny small town to Houston fully expecting to lose places that know you by name. This place has been the exception since day one & the staff from the Mgr on down have always been amazingly helpful. It's always a bonus to look forward to seeing a staff when you visit a business. Too note, there is a nearby Chase location on Louisiana street & that mgr fully lives up to the reviews
My husband and I recently sold a property through a living trust which was a situation completely new to us.On a Saturday morning at the bank- Brenda, Vanessa and Reuben helped us sort through the details for the deposit of these funds a rather complicated issue At this particular bank they have always given us the best service above and beyond what would be expected. We have been members here for many years and highly recommend this particular branch because of the exellent service .
My mother was steered into applying to a new credit card. She is Spanish speaker, after loosing her cc she went to ask for a replacement and was applied to a whole new credit card having her credit run without permission. When I went back with her, we were able to speak with Vanessa Serrano who is bilingual and was able to find a solution. Branch manager Brenda was not helpful as she kept putting every excuse why her team mate who did not speak Spanish had a Spanish speaker apply for a credit card.
Beware of false mortgage deal promises by Jason Pavle! When my husband and I were in the process of buying a new home, we decided to switch to Chase bank as our lender and work with Jason Pavle as he promised several added incentives/refunds more than the current lender we were working with. One promise Jason our Mortgage Banker made was that he would refund the appraisal cost back at closing. We progressed the lending process with him and were SHOCKED to find out on closing day that the appraisal amount was NOT refunded. After many phone calls and email conversations, Jason insisted that this was a misunderstanding and that he never promised that the appraisal would be refunded. We told him we distinctly remember this promise as this was one of the primary reasons we decided to switch from our other lender to using chase bank. He said let’s just close on the house and he’ll see what he can do to make us happy. A few weeks after closing, Jason contacted us asking for us to take a survey on his mortgage services that he provided us during this process. He asked that we only score him 9’s and 10’s on the survey; otherwise, it would be considered a big failure. We told him we could not do so due to the issue we had with not being refunded for the $500 home appraisal. He then went to speak with his Lending Manager Greg Pompura and called to tell us he had some good news. He said that his manager approved sending us a $500 check after taking this survey and rating them high 9’s and 10s as they didn’t want us to feel like we had a bad experience and they really needed the high scores. We went ahead and took the survey and gave them the scores they wanted per our agreement. After months of emails and back and forth texts, we still had not received the promised $500 check!!! It wasn’t until 5 months later that we received a check in the mail from Chase. SADLY, when we opened the check, we saw it was for only $250!!! Again, we emailed Jason a copy of the check and he said he’d look into it. It’s now been almost 7 months since our closing and we still have not heard anything back about the remaining $250. My husband and I are tired of following up on this item and disappointed in Chase for making false promises and not taking the initiative to follow up with their customers to ensure their satisfaction. As I’ve mentioned to Jason, we plan to post this story to the Better Business Bureau as well since this is no way to conduct business, especially in such a large transaction as a mortgage. We don’t want others to have to go through the hassle that we went through in working with Jason Pavle and his manager Greg Pompura. Please stay away no matter how good “the deal” may seem! It’s just too much of a hassle to ensure they follow through and that’s not something anyone wants to go through upon moving into a new home and trying to get settled in.
Super slow service. very bad service. Do Not Come. Waste your time. If you come, Prepare to waste 30 minutes to just deposit a check- such a simply service.
