THE LETTER I WROTE TO THE MANAGER SAYS IT ALL Dear Manny, Thank you for your prompt and courteous delivery. Jesus and Carlos are an asset to your company. I previously ordered a laundry setup from Home Depot. The equipment arrived damaged and the delivery driver didn't know if he was coming or going. I cancelled my order with them. Both your men had great attitudes and were very professional. Jesus made sure to communicate to Carlos as they made their way into and through my home so as to make sure they didn't bump into anything. They treated my home like it was their own. The installation was fast and flawless. I can't tell you when the last time was that I had a more positive experience when it comes to making a large purchase. Your men made me feel good about spending my hard earned money with Howard's. Not only did I save $1,000 - I received superior appliances. You've earned a customer for life. Our fridge went out so the first place my husband and I thought of was Howard's because that is where we purchased my Samsung washer and dryer a few years ago. We walked into the Upland location and were barely greeted. We told the three salesmen sitting at the front we what we were looking for and instead of walking us over they just pointed us in the direction of the fridges. Okay, fine. We find one we like and the price is in our budget. We talk to a salesman, who finally makes his way over, about delivery and accessories. I told my husband I wanted to look at one or two more places before we pull the trigger, I was not impressed with their lack of customer service. Lucky for us, they did not have the fridge we wanted in stock and were told it would take about a week to get one in. No offer to call another location to see if there were any in stock elsewhere, absolutely zero effort to take care of us as customers. That was it for me, I urged my husband to leave. I will not go back to another Howard's no matter how good the deal. We ended up going to Cagles in Ontario, a family run business. They greeted us as soon as we entered the store and were helpful and extremely nice. We obviously bought our new fridge there and will recommend them to anyone. What has happened to treating customers like they matter? I refuse to spend our hard earned money at establishments that don't value their customers. Free Enterprise is a wonderful thing. I'm tired of terrible customer service being the new normal. I will gladly pay a little more at a family run business who appreciates and values their customers.
My husband and I were at Howard's to purchase a fridge. Eddie was so helpful and patient with us. There was no pressure from him. Infact we also purchased a new bed as well which I have been wanting. Eddie was so helpful. All of our appliances were purchased at Howard's. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much Eddie!
Love Howard's!! Been waiting for 7 weeks for someone else to deliver my Appliances for my remodel. Cancelled that order. Ordered from Howard's over the phone. Went over to sign paperwork, and later that week it was Delivered to My Satisfaction!!! Never again will I use Anybody But HOWARD'S!!! They are the BEST!!!
Knowledgeable, no-pressure sales staff. Loved that they had a large variety and what I needed in stock. The other 3 retailers I shopped all had to order my item. Same week delivery with great installation too! On time and professional. We'll definitely be back :-
Always a great experience at Howard's! All of our appliances have come from this location! The low price guarantee is awesome!! Big shout out to Jake who had tons of patience with us, was uber informative and knowledgeable about the appliances and even sold me a bed on top of the fridge, stove and microwave! Thanks Jake!
Where do I even start...in April my boyfriend and I bought a home & wanted Whirlpool appliances throughout our home. In April we bought a washer & dryer. I was told then to wait on kitchen appliances until the Memorial Day sale. So, in May I went back. They neglected to tell me Whirlpool wouldn't contract with their Memorial Day sale so I paid full price. Then they didn't have my microwave, thats fine I had one. I get a call 1 day before delivery and they magically had my microwave but not my oven/stove. Ok, I have one no big deal. The team that came to install the microwave & dishwasher mentioned they didn't have my refrigerator. WHY? They said they only install the 2 items & that another team will deliver the refrigerator. NO ONE told me that! I called Howards, they said it would be there the following day. Unacceptable. They called back an hour later and said "nevermind someone will be there in 2 hours." So 2 weeks go by i didnt hear anything about my oven/stove. I call & they said 2 more weeks. I should not have to keep following up, thats their job! Needless to say after 4 weeks we received our oven/stove. I used it approx 3 times, it CAUGHT FIRE! The customer service woman was rude & inconsiderate! I got in touch with Whirlpool myself & let them know what happened & they sent a specialist out to investigate what happened. Apparently whoever delivered the item whether it be Howards or someone they contract with, in transit packing got under the bottom rack I guess you call it without unscrewing it to check & that is what caught fire. We are very lucky it was not worse than what it was! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN & I will tell all friends & family! Oh not to mention, in transit my refrigerator got dented but because I didn't see it that day I noticed it at an angle a couple days later they won't do anything because I signed upon delivery. Absolutely ridiculous! Save your time, money & energy! Buy elsewhere.
In store service was great until I learned water hoses were not supplied with dishwasher and refrigerator upon installation by my contractors. Salesman Johnathan Castillo was fast to sell me a new gas line hose but failed to mention these others that he INSISTED he did but my daughter who was with me said he did not! I asked if the would give me them because Of my $6000+ purchase and he said no! Thank god for Home Depot close by! Need washer and dryer but will go elsewhere!
The service from Jake was amazing, very knowledgeable about all inventory. This was our second purchased. We purchased a stove and refrigerator and I would totally recommend you go to Howard's but talk to Jake he knows everything. Deann in Upland was phenomenal! Her product knowledge was so helpful and we walked out feeling completely satisfied. She mentioned financing and we were approved which was a huge help. I never knew the sold mattresses and she even have a bit of knowledge about those so we will be back to buy a few from her in the next few months. Thanks again Deann
