Hoyt Sherman Place

Went to see the Dixie Dregs. The venue is small but beautiful . One usher informwd us that it was built in the 20s. Hoyt has amazing acoustics! The sound was really balanced and the clarity of each instrument has to be heard to understand There is not a bad seat in the house. I walked the entire venue and no matter where you sit, you you have a good view and great sound. I'm already planning what to see here next.

A very nice venue smallish venue. I don't think that there is a bad seat in the whole place. Men's restroom is upstairs and the women's is downstairs. I usually find a decent parking spot on the streets north west of the venue.

Beautiful, historic theater. I don't know what it seats but it remains an intimate space. I sat a couple rows up in the balcony, and felt very close to the stage. Only 4 stars because of the bats. Actual flying bats, swooping over the stage and audience. Directly overhead, if you're in the balcony. One was killed on stage, and really rattled some of the performers. It was a comedy show, so it kind of added to the fun.

There is no place I love more to see artists than Hoyt Sherman! The place reeks of ambiance and sitting in the balcony is awesome. The software for choosing which seat I 'rent' is flawless and I'm not hit with a lot of useless spam, despite entrusting them with my details. Drinks are high, as they are at any venue like this, but c'mon! We're supporting the arts here! This is an excellent place, with a great lineup and wonderful people.

Acoustics were great. Love ❤ the interior/exterior of this building. Entertainment is well worth the price of ticket.
