The facility was very clean and all of the vendors there were very friendly. They helped with getting me to my seat and ensure others were able to get around. It is best to make sure to arrive early to find a place to park. Food was fairly expensive but that is understandable considering the type of venue. It is a great place to enjoy a family outing or an evening out with friends depending on the event.

This arena is great.. as is Des Moines in general. I was there for a Jimmy Buffet show. Went outside for a .. cigarette and lost my ticket at the party across the street. One of the managers said.. We gotta get you a ticket. So they looked up my credit card and what not.. realized I actually did have a ticket and printed me out a new one.
This place truly Rocks !

If you are seeing a concert here, pay for the good seats. Otherwise you basically have to climb a ladder to your seats on the 3rd level. It's difficult to enjoy a show when you can't even stand up. Plenty of food and drink options and ample restrooms.

Most arenas are pretty similar with very similar attributes. This one stands out in several ways. The seating is more comfortable than most. Food selection is good, variety and quality. Food is not ultra expensive. They serve Coke, big bonus in my book. They keep the arena, concourse and bathrooms clean and tidy. Acoustics were really good and it was obvious that they have made a big effort here.

Imagine going to your WF bank and watching a rock ‘n roll concert in the lobby. But having beer instead of coffee. There you go. Clean, efficient and courteous staff, that brush their teeth (yes, they have full sets of them) twice a day. Adequate parking within Polk County. Same leg and hip room as coach. Maybe a bit more. Easy to get in then out in a safe and reasonable time. Real security screening, actually, which impressed me. Yes. Thank you.
