Wooly's

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM STUBHUB. They are a ticket resale company that will charge ridiculous fees for a ticket that's just 20 bucks. You can go to the Wooly's box office or the Wooly's website to purchase the ticket you need. You can purchase physical tickets without a service fee at the box office Mon-Fri 12-5pm. Anyway, back to the review. I've been blown away with some of the shows that have come to this venue. A great place to listen to live music at a reasonable price depending on the show. A majority of the shows that come through Wooly's are standing room only. There are 6 booths available for reservation if you would like guaranteed seating. They seat up to 6 and the price depends on the show. Call to book or ask the waitress during the show. There is a full bar with lots of selections for alcoholic drinks or non alcoholic drinks. Restrooms are located next to the bar and downstairs. If you don't want to pay 2 dollars for water there is a water fountain downstairs too. Anything else you might want to know, call the box office or check out their website. ✌️

I absolutely love going to shows here. It's got great staff and they keep everything very professional. If you have not gone to a show at Wooly's I would highly recommend doing so as soon as you can!!!! I can't wait for the next show. Keep it up guys!!

Usually packed during events. Have seen multiple people play here and enjoyed it each time. The sound is a bit off. I think they need to ad sound further back to help it sound right. Long bar on the left side and tables on the right

The venue is great except it is always so hot. Winter... hot. Spring... miserable. I can't imagine summer concerts there and I have chosen not to buy tickets for a band I really want to see since it is in the middle of July. If there is AC there, it sure doesn't work.

Great venue for music. Drinks are stiff enough and reasonably priced. Staff members are friendly and efficient. The club and bathrooms are clean but lacking in aesthetic appeal. Come early since it is street parking and sometimes difficult to find a spot, for Des Moines anyway.
