Infinity Event Center

This place used to be great but it's definitely gone downhill. They cancelled Tuesday country dancing because it wasn't bringing in enough money, got rid of the "every 10th visit free" promo, and stopped taking some requests. Make sure to bring water bottles because there's no drinking fountain (so they can sell their bottles). They also stopped filling bottles for you at the bar because "otherwise nobody buys our water".

Fun place to meet people and learn how to country swing dance. Great date place, no alcohol, awesome atmosphere!

Trying to get into the event was long. Even though the tickets said doors open at 7:00 we waited another 45 minutes to get in after not arriving until 7:30. There really was no reason for having to wait that long. Once inside and the concert started, trying to get a drink was another disorganized and long process. Waited for at least 30 minutes. Even on the top floor, because they have VIP along the railings if those are full, you can't see the stage at all. The downstairs floor was so packed unless you were against the stage, you were not going to be able to see either. They allowed people to line the stairs which made it super difficult to get to the restrooms downstairs and is probably a huge fire hazard. Definitely not the greatest indoor venue in Salt Lake. I'd definitely avoid going there again.

Went with my sister to their country event. This review is more for the event rather than the center. They weren't particularly great at reaching out to new people, most everyone there seemed to know each other. Not my kind of crowd anyway, but if it was, not sure how I would feel.

Good venue. Liked the layout and everything. Saw Stick Figure, Twiddle, and Iya Terra.
