Property management companies are a lot like insurance companies. You pay your premiums for years, but then when you have an accident and need them most, you find yourself frustrated, confused and alone. I have had to get personally involved every step of the way. Our tenants have been a nightmare, but InTouch Properties didn't have the time to deal with them. They go days without checking emails, despite the fact that the eviction process is an extremely time sensitive thing with the court system. The owner NEVER has time to take a phone call without rushing you off the phone. The final straw was when they postponed our tenants move-out inspection by 2 weeks because they were too busy to do it sooner. Tenants thought they could live there rent free for 2 weeks and never once did InTouch think to pick up the phone and run any of this by me. I would have fired them sooner and done the move-out inspection myself!
