Dennis was super personable and knowledgeable about the area and history of the wineries! Each of the three wineries had some unique characteristic and wines to try which was nice to mix it up throughout the day. Procento's Pizza at the second winery was absolutely delicious! I am not a big fan of wine, but it was a ton of fun trying all the different kinds and I found a couple I liked. Would definitely recommend using Iowa wine tours if you want to do wine tastings. It's super convenient having Dennis drive you to the places and line everything up because some are off the beaten path. Had a very enjoyable experience!

I decided to plan a private wine tour for my best friend's bachelorette party and I could not be more happy with the service and tour we received during our time in Iowa! Dennis was great from the very start! Answering all (and I had a lot) of questions and the day went off without a hitch! He was very knowledgeable about the area and all of the wineries we were visiting. Not to mention putting up with a group of 10 women...could not have asked for a better guide. If you are looking for a great time, while drinking delicious wine, you've found your spot!! Thank you again for making this a weekend to remember.

My mom, sister, and I recently made the trip to Galena, IL for a girls weekend and did the Black Hawk Wine Tour. We had an absolute blast! Working with Dennis was great - he made booking easy and called the night before with our pickup time. Pickup was right outside our hotel which was great. Dennis was very knowledgeable about the wineries and made our experience great. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience some of the local wine in the region.

We were on the winery tour thus weekend. We had an awesome time! We did the afternoon tour with Dennis. The $65 was worth every penny. During our first stop, we had 5 samples of wine. Dennis also fed us with cheese and crackers. During our second stop, we had 14 samples of wine, 12-in thin pizza from Procento's. Our group was simple and ordered pepperoni and sausage between 4 people. Other pizza toppings was spinach & mushroom or plain cheese. During our last stop, we had 6 samples of wine. It was definitely helpful to do the tour because the wineries were not that close together and lots if driving was involved. Dennis also provided bottled water in the bus. Will definitely do this tour again!

We booked with Dennis for a small bachelorette party and had a great time! Dennis is very knowledgeable of the wineries, very friendly and wants everyone to have a great time. The wineries he took us to were very nice and gave you a very nice selection of all their wines for tasting. We would highly recommend him and would definitely use again in the future.
