I've now been about half a dozen times and think this may be one of the better places (for any cuisine) in Houston. The food is very fresh, flavorful and just the right portions. The waiters and waitresses are VERY friendly and helpful in selecting your meal (there is no menu but suggestions on a chalkboard when you walk in). The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and I love the location and ambiance here. It's one of our go-to places for out of town visitors or just want a nice meal. Since we love all flavors Mexican, it's a no-brainer...

Great service and food. Very casual and laid back service. But be careful. There are no menus and no prices. So then they give you a price, might even “take some drinks off your bill” but then it’s 1/3 more than the bill should be. Our $250 bill was $350 after they took off 3 drinks drinks. Ask for a detailed bill before you pay. You can check prices on the website.

Their food may be fantastic, I will never know. I was seated right away for lunch. They brought my guacamole, which was good. Thats the last of the server I saw for 15min. When he returned he asked if I had any questions about the menu. What menu? Apparently the menu is a secret because I never saw a menu. The four or five other people there were eating, people were in the kitchen Im certain its a restaurant. Not sure they have menus. I paid $15.00 for iced-to and guacamole And left to get lunch.

If you're in down town Irma's is a must. I remember going here when it was in a house before they built new stadium (Enron now Minute Maid). Great food then and now. The homemade lemonade is a must with any meal.

Just hosted a rehearsal dinner here for 70 people. I can't say enough good things about Louis and his entire staff - especially Janet who supervised. They did an excellent job from the food - which received rave reviews from our guests - to the service. Everything was carried out exactly as planned and we were able to relax and enjoy our celebration!
