Z'Tejas Mexican Restaurant and Grill

Just by chance, I decided to go to the Z'Tejas Mexican restaurant and u was not disappointed. When I arrived for lunch, I was greeted by their friendly staff. The restaurant is a casual environment, but it had an upscale feeling about it. I ordered the chicken street tacos and they were excellent. You should give this place a try!

Wonderful experience! We sat on the patio and it was perfect! Ordered the steak street tacos which came with avocado slices on top. Husband ordered the smothered burrito and said the chicken was very flavorful. Tuesdays they have half priced margaritas. Wonderful atmosphere, food, drinks, and service.

Z'Tejas Mexican Restaurant is lively, noisy and fun. On arrival, a basket of corn chips and a warm, six inch round corn bread, still, in it's baking pan, are placed on the table. A mild salsa quickly follows. The menu, traditional Mexican cuisine, is extensive and is accompanied by a serving staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. I called ahead and asked if vegan options are offered. The receptionist said, yes. So, even though the restaurant is busy, the chef prepared two off-menu, vegan, Kamini mushroom enchiladas with rice, beans and salsa. Delicious! Indoor and, a little quieter patio seating is available. Mostly wheelchair accessible. Part of the restaurant is a couple of steps down. If this is a problem call Z'Tejas to reserve a wheelchair accessible table. The parking and bathrooms are handicapped accessible.

Great customer service. Food was a southwestern mix. The atmosphere is outstanding, emulating a fancy restaurant. Prices are about like a Chili's. I enjoyed the experience.

Excellent service and friendly employees. Food was best we had in a while Nikita was the best waitress. Great place for eating out. Nice atmosphere. Bar a southwest food. Not in this part of Texas much but from now on will come this way just so my wife and I can get some wonderful food with very excellent service. I recommend this location to any one who want good food and extremely excellent service with friendly staff a a reasonable price.
