Iron Skillet Restaurant

Great salad bar. Nice staff. Buffet is quickest and best if you're really hungry. It costs a little less to order off the menu.

They really need some waitress in there that know what they're doing, I come from a family of waitresses and expect same service I'd give them when I go to a restaurant.That wasn't the case here, I was ask what I was having&drinking after standing by both I'd chose to sit at as I waited for a waitress to clean it off.Well she got her money and the few dishes and went on her way so I took it upon myself to ask for dishrag&was handed one with no questions asked,I cleaned table and seats& returned rag. I then went to make my salad and returned to table still no drink or silverware,napkins nothing.I finally got up found lady who ask me what I was drinking and ask for drink,silverware, straw&extra napkins.Well I got the napkin around the silver ware and 2more,Really?Extra napkins to me,I give at least 5per person&5extra if there is small kids or babies.Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT.So if they want napkins give them napkins, I'm sure the restaurant don't want to lose customers over napkins and bad waitresses.I never had my glass refilled,waitress didn't check on me not one time, I had to chase her down to get my ticket so I could leave. Food was fine but both waitresses sucked bad.I'd be glad to help y'all out I need a job anyway.

They have real country fried steak and a hot/salad bar. They don't cook the food at the correct temperature. The steaks are cooked at too low of a temperature and have no char. The cf steaks are often over cooked like it's cooked too hot and they are dry. The manager is rude and obnoxious so employee turn over is high. You rarely see the same server twice.

The food was very good and they really keep this restaurant looking clean. Floors swept, tables wiped clean. The salad bar can get a little messy and my baked potatoe was not very hot but other than that we had a good experience!

My wife and grown son that lives in Vance ate there today about 10:30. They said the lunch buffet would be ready at 11:00 so we ordered country fried steak and my son order grilled chicken. The steak and gravy was horrible band his children was like leather. I asked for gravy they forget but didn't get it, no refill on drinks. I asked several times for gravy for THE chicken fried steak that should be part of that dish. We never not any! I said at checkout that it was horrible and she said GREAT. Horrible experience with the food and rude service!!!!!! $47.00 down the toilet!!!!!!!!!!!
