Cafe Dupont

Cafe Dupont is always the best. Has been the best Restaurant in Birmingham for decades. It has remained under the 'awards' radar for reasons. That actually is a good thing. Loved by locals, seasonal locally sourced food, and a point of view that reminds me of many fine restaurants I've eaten in London, New Orleans & New York. The food Southern with a French point of view. Great service as well. Enjoy and feel free to pass on the secret!

I enjoy going to Cafe Dupont for very special occasions. Two out of four which have been celebrating my birthday. Great food. Doesn't get any better than having a fantastic culinary experience. Great service from all the people that create a marvelous dining experience. Sincerely, Catherine N.

Wife and I had a great Valentine's Day dinner here. Pre-set menu for the holiday that was worth every penny. The service is what you would expect for this type of restaurant and is some of the best in town. Waiter was great very knowledgeable and provided excellence recommendations.

My boyfriend took me here for Christmas. The staff are extremely professional, the food is worth every penny, and I love the energy in the restaurant. The food changes to different themes based on the seasons. Also, the make delicious cocktails.

We are from out of town and drove by Cafe Dupont while exploring downtown Birmingham. The restaurant looked so inviting. Cafe Dupont is outstanding. First the service is so so professional. True genteel service. Pleasant, informative and attentive. The food was also excellent. We had the fried oyster and fried tomato appetizers. Their specialty for a reason. The fried chicken was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend.
