As soon as you open the door, the smell of serious southern cooking hits you. This place is awesome! Everything they had to offer looked amazing. The ox tails I had were delicious. Everything I ate was delicious! Friendly staff, casual atmosphere, wonderful food, simply perfect.

American ranch house is a cafeteria style meat and veggie restaraunt. The staff is super nice and friendly. The food is delicious and fresh. They offer refills on your drinks and you do get a selection of cornbread or roll with your meal. It's very affordable under $10.00 for a huge plate. The meat serving was large and the veggies were delicious.

Hands down THE BEST food-gettin' place in Tarrant, & maybe even in the larger B'ham metro area! A Meat & 2(or 3) very fairly priced, & they're always sporting a handsome & diverse selection of Meats & Veggies. I have NEVER been robbed on any of my portions, and those of you who think they shorted you, You are greedy and delusional. I often can make 2 entire meals from one box! The menu is Vast, & should have something for Everyone. Always cooked to order, which can take a moment, but is very rewarding. Service has Always been prompt, mostly friendly, and usually accurate. As they seem to be constantly recovering from a "rush" of business, Cleanliness may not be spotless, but is Never nasty. If I could afford to, I would stop cooking myself and just eat at this House 24-7. I Love It. U can forget about all the other so-called "Country Cooking" restaurants in the area, as American Ranch House will Bless you time & again with a Full Belly, cash still in your wallet, and a usually munchies to eat later.
