I've been here twice now and this time around I was pretty thrilled with my food. We ordered a sausage sampler of the spicy and the brat. Both were very good and you could tell they were made with care. For my dish I got a Caesar Salad with chicken. Now, I know, you're probably thinking "well that's lame...." LET ME TELL YOU WHAT.... This dish was the Caesar Salad I have been looking for in Raleigh. There are almost no places that make a proper Caesar. This place does. They have anchovy in the dressing, and a few laid across the top. It is incredible. Also, the chicken that went along with it was cooked perfectly. My only complaint about this salad is that like most other places, the price jumps up $4 if you add chicken. It's a pretty steep price to pay, but I'll certainly be willing to pay it again.

Food and drink were excellent. The bottled beer selection was fairly exhaustive and thoroughly in keeping with the restaurant’s theme. It would be great to have more than four draft beer offerings and perhaps suggested beer pairings for menu items. Portions were just right: not too big or too small. Service was appropriately attentive. In fact, my dinner companion inadvertently left an item on his seat and the waitstaff alerted us just after we exited, avoiding a search and return trip to retrieve it. The place is small and a bit on the noisy side. Cloth napkins but no tablecloths? Overall, the cuisine and service were a treat and I hope to return soon.

ALWAYS a wonderful dinner or lunch. The quality and presentation of the food is well-done. We had soft-shell crabs tonite and they were divine!

So delicious!!! Best German food in the area! Fresh, and local farmers ingredients. Gourmet dishes! Yumm. I would strongly recommend you make a reservation previous to your visit.

Excellent Austrian, German food. Try the house made smoked pork and beef kielbasa! Great wine and beer selection.
