The Bavarian Restaurant & Biergarten

Nice, quaint setting. Very Authentic...except for the prices (see receipt). Schnitzel for $21.95 is absolutely rubbery. Smashed pork, breaded with a sauce is about $2.00. I could see $14.00 or so but the price point was crazy! Food was good, just not worth the money. Server was friendly and food came out quickly. If you've never lived in Germany then this is a little slice of Bavaria.

Very quaint and excellent service and food. Tried the homemade sausages and were delicious! This building has been here since I was little and many restaurants have occupied. Visit and enjoy.

Loved it! Small and romantic with authentic German Cuisine. Excellent wine and beer selections. The chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce and spatzel were excellent. Our waiter Jason knew the menu well, was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner visit. Planning to return on our next visit to Asheville.

The food was actually good. The service was very slow, but they comped my alcohol. I enjoyed the quaint decor. It truly feels like a small German Alpine cabin. I had the Jager Schnitzel and the portion was ample. The German red cabbage is very good and the potato salad is to die for. The prices seem a little high but they have cornered the market on Bavarian Dinning in Asheville. All in all I recommend trying this place out for yourself.

Music was authentic! Decor was cozy and quaint. Our meals were delicious and a taste of Germany. Our host and server Jason was very personable and engaging. Top notch! Give this a try!
