This place was amazing. I almost missed it as we drove by. But I am so glad we stopped. All the food was amazing, the jerk chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly. The Rumcake had an amazing flavor. The owner was preparing my food, said the nearby town council didn't want them in the downtown because it's an "eyesore". It's their loss. This place is amazing, the food is restaurant quality. This is a hidden gem that CANNOT be missed!

Stopped by the Jamaican Jewel for lunch today.  The food is absolutely fantastic I had the curry chicken which was perfectly cooked. My wife had the jerk chicken. Also a winner. Portion sizes are generous. If you're coming through the area I can definitely recommend this place.

Friday i had maple bbq chicken. Today the jerk pork. Both awesome you can't go wrong either way.
