Joann's is the best place to get fabric by the yard, if you are crafty enough to know what to do with it. So many awesome patterns that make you smile. Also tons of other craft things but fairly high prices unless you're financially well-off or have a gift card.

This place has everything you need. Plus the cashier lady was nice and asked about my day. That hasn't happened in a while

Even with coupons their prices are way too high . The trip to Harry Hines is worth it.  Golden d'or is the best!

Priced a bolt of fabric last week. When a sixty percent off coupon arrived, I opted to make a special trip to purchase the fabric. Once at the register, the price was double what I planned to spend. Apparently, the tag on the bolt was wrong, but they said they would honor the price. Back at the register, I was informed they would *not* honor the coupon and the mislabled price. 
I won't soon be making special trips to this store after this absurd customer service.
