Katie's Ice Cream & Chocolates

I don’t know why I keep going back. Guess I hope their ice cream would improve. How wrong I am each time. Their cookie dough flavored ice cream should be called boring vanilla. Every time I get it hoping it has cookie dough chunks and it never does. I’ll not purchase their over priced cookie dough ice cream ever again.

A great place for a tasty treat. The staff is always clean and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and they are conveniently located. I highly reccomend it!

It is a nice little place needs new tables both inside and out. We went in there today to get some ice cream and there was only one person in there working. There was also a very strong smell of chemicals that is not something I want to smell when I go in to order ice cream. I suggest using H2O cleaning products they are non-toxic and they will not be harmful, ice cream and any other food should not be around harsh chemicals ever. We like the various flavors , but even the place where you keep the ice creams needed cleaning and better refrigeration, there were some melting before they were scooped. Fix these things and I will move the rating up. But for now sorry that is all I can do.

This ice cream shop is just amazing! They have such amazing ice cream and I love taking my family here to enjoy a little sweet treat! Katie's always has coffee flavored ice cream and it's amazing! I love this ice cream shop and it is just perfect for Roanoke!
