He listened well, respected my personal preferences, and provided a wealth of experience and shared musical appreciation. There are no high-end audio stores near where I live. Fantastic experience talking to Chris. He is the rare mixture of incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He really takes the time to explain things deeply. I was on the fence about buying a power conditioner and he explained to me very thoroughly, not only why they are effective but why they have a bad reputation of squashing dynamics. I have dealt with Mr. Chris Amos at Kemela only by phone. Over two years ago, I was shopping for a better system and found Kemela Audio on line. I took a chance and called. On the phone, I met Chris Amos and I asked 100s of questions and he took the time to answer all of them. He gave me advices and suggested a few equipment and cables and I listened to his advices and suggestions. I have ordered integrated amplifier, cables of all kinds, power conditioners, etc., and as of today, I am super happy and amazed with everything that Chris Amos recommended. I lived in D.C., Panama City and now in Stuttgart, Germany. My last order was the Primare I32 that he recommended by phone, I bought it, received last week and I am stoked with the sound. Superb!
