Absolutely no customer service. I bought a screen protector from them. It cracked. I brought it in and the salesman was very nice and took care of everything for me, probably because he realized I’m in my 60s and maybe I need some help with this. I got my new screen it was great. I cracked it again. Return to the same place and I was treated as if I was a leopard with the plague. I finally just ask him can you help me or not. His answer was no. The entire staff had quite the attitude. since I posted this, the owner of the store replied, I hope that you give us another chance. Maybe I should’ve posted my phone number. I noticed that he responds to all of these negative comments. But he does absolutely nothing about them after he responds. It is all for show . Please don’t go to this Verizon store for any reason. It is the worst of all the phone stores in the world.
This store pulled a bait and switch so be careful!! What I thought was such a quickly & easy trade in turned out to cost me an extra $220. I was told I would be given $420 for my iPhone and just to mail it in. Turns out once it’s sent to Verizon they can change the amount after their assessment. They decided to give me $200 for it. Now I’m locked into this contract and paying out the extra $220. They are not transparent whatsoever and do not warn the consumer about the ability to change pricing prior to purchase.
Pathetic customer service. Corporate asked me to fax back some information. Since I didn't have a fax machine they suggested this local store. Well the store manager was hiding in the back. The security officer attempted to help however it's not easy when the employees are all too busy and the manager is as well. I waited 20 minutes only to find out via the security officer that the communications company doesn't have a fax and I should pay Staples to send Verizon a document they requested. Perhaps one day customer service will return to a company owned store. I am glad the security officer attempted to assist - it's insane to think a vendor could be of more assistance than the employees. The good news is they gave me the #800 number to call Verizon directly - ah yeah why do you think I am at your store! Thanks for sending me down a rabbit hole of horrible customer service.
I purchase a device from this store and the device was defective. I came back to return the device on day 15th and they did not allowed a device change. Instead , they sent me a refurbish device in exchange for mine. This device happened to have the same issues as the one before. I have come back 3 more times and my issue still the same. they keep sending me the refurbished phone instead of giving me a new phone. The craziest part is that I have been the entire month switching up every Samsung Note 10 that this office has sent me since the day i started my services with Verizon. Definitely a bad choice to do business with them.
Terrible experience. Purchased a device online on 11/23 and never received the info to select in store pick up. I arrived to this store about seven minutes after purchase since I live so close. Kristin greeted me and listened to my issue. She immediately said I would need to call Verizon. I stepped back out of the store and called. She then came out and asked what device I purchased. She checked and said there was only one left in the store and that was the reason I was not prompted online to select in store pickup. I called Verizon and spoke to Gene, and he shared that Kristin would have to let him know if he should cancel and have them help me at the store or for him to select in store pick up. I told him to just select in store pick up. He shared that I had to wait for Kristin to tell him what to do??? However, Kristin went to the back of the store and NEVER returned. There were three employees, two customers, and one security guard in the store at this time. One employee was watching television on an ipad, Kristin hid in the back, and the third employee the only male was assisting the other customer. Gene and I waited for about 15 minutes for Kristin to return. Gene was in as much shock as I was. Kristin never returned. When I bothered the employee watching television for a manger's card, she shared that she would go ask if Kristin had one. I laughed as I asked," She's the manger?". I walked out. I decided to stick with the mailing of the phone even though I needed this for my Thanksgiving trip. Gene couldn't tell me when the phone would be delivered but that the order went through. He put me on hold to see if he could find that information out for me and he also never returned to my call. At this point, this was comical. In my opinion, it's not so much a Verizon issue as it is this Verizon store location issue. This store is awful. And to be honest. I know this won't change. These reviews don't encourage companies to improve because this always falls on personnel who are trained according to company policy and still don't do the right thing great flick. Again, in my opinion, these reviews instead assist in consumers to make informed decisions on where to spend their money. I will never return to this store and everyone else can make their choice.
Looking up the nearest Verizon I come across the one on ponce and I seen a comment about how Lydia is the one to see. Thankfully she was there and she was delightful and knowledgeable. Her patients was amazing. The other staff was friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
HORRIBLE experience! AVOID this location! The security guard and Kristen are not worthy of working for Verizon. On the day of the S21 Ultra release my wife and I and our dog arrived in rainy cold weather. Arriving close to the entrance the Verizon security guard put his hand up in our face like he was stopping traffic. No " polite hello or good morning...just the palm in my wife's face. We have a 16 year old service dog. As we were waiting while only 1 client was inside a man exited and said in passing" terrible service". The security guard pokes his head out of the door and barked at us " we are not allowing any dogs or service dogs inside today". I told him that what he said is in violation of the American's with disabilities act, a federal law. He said you can speak with the manager. I waited 10 minutes until the manager meandered over and asked what our issue was. I said we want buy 2 new phones but the security guard stated we could not come in because of our service dog. The guard was sitting down a couple of feet from us and remained silent. I stated again that he said we cannot come in. I told Kristen that this is not legal. The officer then spoke and said" I never said that to you". He's said we are not going to go back and forth on this. My wife was amazed that he flat out lied. I'm not sure what possible motive we would have to point this out to the manager,Kristen, if he had not said this. He was clearly lying. Kristen, the manager, offered NO solution and was not interested in selling us phones. She just stood there. I asked for her last name and she wouldn't give it to me. I asked for the general managers name and they both refused. Hopefully this fiasco was caught on camera and they can make some changes at this location. I have purchased phones in the past here without an issue. We went to another location to spend our $2,800 on 2 Samsung s20 Note Ultras. Brandon, our salesperson, at the Edgewood location, pleasant, friendly and was amazing, a great help. He didn't have a problem taking our $2,800 and infact upsold us on our 5G monthly plan. I can't stand people who are ignorant and act from a place of power, like Kristen and the security guard. The security guard and manager, Kristen are bad actors for sure and are costing Verizon money and their reputation for good service. I will be reposting this review on other sites.
Today was a tumultuous day after having had my phone stolen. I am in nursing school so having a baby computer in my pocket at all times is a necessity. Leland was assisting me and made my day much brighter. Turned out I was due for an upgrade. He explained everything clearly to me and helped me step by step to activate my new 11S, recover my data from my stolen phone, and wipe the data off of it. He took his time to make sure I had everything I needed from a beautiful lavender iphone to a case to match with tempered glass as protection. Give this man a raise, he is phenomenal. Coming back to you guys for all my phone needs.
We went in to take care of a few requests, including transfer of service, resetting a phone, and adding a couple family lines. These things took time of course, but we were able to successfully take care of these things all within the store. Our service rep, Lydia, was kind, patient, attentive, and never made us feel rushed. I would return to this store!
I forgot to get the lady's name, but she went above and beyond to help me get a notoriously hard to find case for a OnePlus 8. If you have a standard 1+8 you know what I mean She brought out all 5 of the cases they had in the back and let me open each box to see if it fits. The very last one finally fit and I'm a happy camper. One odd thing though, how in the world do you work at Verizon and not know that Visible is Verizon's MVNO?? I dont hold that against them in a world of corporate and franchise stores, but still, kinda weird. Either way, it's a good store, as I was sitting watching all the employees seemed very attentive and knew what they were doing. Everyone seemed to leave satisfied as I did. Good Job Verizon
