I’ve never experienced a “bad” Target until I started coming here. Things are disheveled throughout the store. People’s trash are left on the shelves. The clothing section is despicable. The only good thing is they have my items in stock most times, but I’ll probably start shopping at a further store. It gives thrift more than your ideal Target. It’s sad to see this store in disarray in such an upcoming area. I’ll start back shopping at the Target in Tucker.
Awful. Those poor people working there. I really feel for them. I had a terrible experience, but one look around and it is easy to see that the teams are so overloaded that they have no opportunity to get it right. I‘ve gone from shopping here exclusively to my current never again stance. At least the woman at customer service was nice. She is in the Philippines, though. She probably wasn‘t abandoned.
If you decide to use their drive up/bring to the auto service, PLEASE check all your items before leaving the parking lot. I’ve had consistently poor service using this system at the Edgewood store. Items that are clearly damaged/missing parts are placed in the bag. Typically, they are items that can only be returned by walking into the store and waiting in line to return. This time, 1 of two items is missing a top.
I've done returns here before that took a half hour to get to the front of the line. Came back today to see if it was any better, and it's worse. Security lets people walk out with merchandise tagged, guest service won't let people buy things there even when their line is short and the self checkout is backed up, and they refused to honor a price that was labeled incorrectly on their shelves. Watched a drive up team member come out to a car while videotaping herself on her phone the whole time. Despicable store.
This is a very poorly ran Target. Not sure why the socks and underwear are locked up, and barely anything in the clearance section is actually on sale. Don’t bother using the call button to get someone to unlock any clothes items you might need, nobody ever shows up. Every time I am here there are only 1 or 2 registers open, and the cashiers were slow as molasses the last 3 times I have been here. When the lines take 15 minutes to get through, this is a problem. I also was not able to get the 10 dollar gift card I was owed because apparently corporate “only sent them used gift cards”. I don’t recommend going to this Target.
If I could give this location, a zero star, I definitely would. I walked into this target today. Three different customer service representatives, in three different departments did not help me. The cashier never said hello or thank you. Another gentleman just stood there and looked at me. I even said hi. How are you today. I noticed the associates have time to talk to other associates. I would like to be contacted regarding this.
I was in the checkout line at Edgewood Target tonight when my daughter had a seizure. To the woman behind me in line, thank you for coming to my rescue and calling 911 while I held my daughter, called my husband and waited for him to come. Although 911 never picked up, you are a saint for coming to my aid in time of crisis. I never got to thank you We are at CHOA and she’s going to be ok. As for the Target employees, the cashier did what she could, but several other employees Security and Manager did absolutely nothing…even said that they CAN’T call 911. Can’t or won’t? Do better, Target! How could your employees just stand around complacent and pretend nothing even happened? Shame on this store and your poorly trained/selfish staff. I’m definitely rethinking my loyalty to this store. I hope my fellow neighbors on this site do as well!
Pretty awful Target. The workers smoke a ton of marijuana in the stock rooms and every time you pass the service door in the toiletries area the smell is overwhelming. I’ve smelled it outside by the service entrance, as well. The customer service reps aren’t nearly as helpful as other Target locations. The shelves are often out of stock, as if we were still in the pandemic. Just not a very pleasant Target to shop out.
Overall, I had a good experience with my return. All the employees were great except one who was not knowledgeable about the exchange process but another employee stepped in to assist with the great service I usually receive at this location. That employee was the reason I didn't give 5 stars because I feel if you don't know something for sure, just ask someone for clarification. She wasn't rude, but I had to tell her what the exchange policy was simply that. Not a separate purchase at the increased price.
Customer service has declined so much over the years!! I rarely go inside stores these days and was shocked to find multiple employees who wouldn’t make eye contact or who were listening to something on their headphones. Overall, employees should be reminded of work etiquette, especially since store fronts are at risk of closing due to competition with online shopping.
