Kemosabe Sushi

Loved it here. Had some Denver favorites to compare to including the phenomenal sushi den. Crew here was super friendly and efficient. Wait staff was on top of everything and very polite. Sushi chefs taking time to present the sushi in that usual artistic flare. The specialty rolls have some interesting spins: Habanero in the cream cheese, combo of ingredients I had not found prior, etc. Taste was fresh and properly proportioned sauces, etc. Environment has a quality feel and good vibe. Smaller joint overall but adds to the charm. Glad I found a local spot for sushi. I am impressed. If it's worth name dropping a couple people: You'll luck out if Lisa's your waitress and Nick is serving up the sushi with the crew behind the bar. Though realistically everyone killed it on this visit.

Atmosphere was nice, sushi was good, no issues there. The prices tho - we eat sushi all over & I don't ever recall getting so little food for the price. Hate to leave a neutral rating but the two bite sized appetizers and a special roll (very small for a special) came to $22. I left hungry but I didn't want to spend $40 to get a decent meal. The couple seated next to me had a bill over $100...for 2 people & I could see they were shocked when the bill came. The sushi is good, but there are other places locally where you can get good sushi and not walk out broke.

High class, 5 star, delicious sushi. The place that every local loves, and every visitor hopes to find. Do recommend.

A cozy sushi corner perfect for a date or small celebration. The sushi was amazing and presented beautifully. The salmon rose was almost too pretty to eat! We also ordered the Hamachi Kama, so tender and perfectly seasoned. If you're looking for a higher end sushi place while in summit county definitely hit up Kemosabe.

Great sushi and you can order dinner from the restaurant next door too. Perfect for everyone!
