Kimpton Hotel Palomar Washington DC

Was in Washington, DC visiting a friend for a couple of days and to visit all the cool museums and history of America. I am glad my friend chose this hotel for us because it was in a prime location. The bed is very comfy and the room was very nicely decorated beautifully with the colors. And the good thing is you can’t hear your neighbors lol. It’s a very nice hotel not over the top but chic.

My experience was over Memorial Day weekend. The staff was very nice and the room was beautiful! The pool was not open as promised on the website. I mentioned something twice to staff and the suggestion was that I walk to another hotel to use their pool. No thank you. I also talked to another guest outside of the pool that stated they were comped a day and their parking for the pool not being open. I was not offered this deal. We also paid an amenity fee but again, did not enjoy all of the amenities. Probably won’t stay here again.

Great hotel! Bruce at check-in delivered outstanding customer service and made my day. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Spa tubs, soft robes, great room service, and drinks make for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect location - heart of the city. Plush luxury with great rooms (large, comfortable, cozy, amenities, ...). Polite staff always willing to lend a helping hand. The only con would be no breakfast included and the restaurant takes forever to serve and bill you. This could set you back if you're looking for a quick grab on your way out to a meeting.

Great location that is a short walk from Dupont Circle metro stop. Bed was comfortable. The walls are well insulated and you hear very little noise. Staff was very welcoming.
