Kyoto Sushi

First of all, our dinner was fantastic! I have never been able to visit an all-you-can-eat buffet for sushi, so this was an amazing experience! The sushi was fantastic, especially the salmon ones! Now, I want to address the one-star reviews. I've noticed claims of terrible menu or terrible service, especially with regard to the gratuity. The buffet menu is fantastic, with many options ranging from sushi to ice cream to appetizers. It consists of mainly sushi, but they will let you order as much as you want, with regard to a 15% gratuity FOR ANY LEFTOVER FOOD. This is not added for ordering extras, only if you leave food on your plate. The service crew on staff for us was fantastic, and was kind. They kept, our group of 6, from having empty drinks, and also answered questions accurately. Overall, I can't recommend this resteraunt enough, and seeing as I am not a local, I plan to visit anytime we come to town!

Came early on a Sunday lunch hour. It was quiet, but I'm very ok with that at times. Our server was very sweet and kind. She kept bringing us random things that she thought we would like. She was great! The food was what we expected, and by that I mean it was good l, fresh, and flavorful. We have eaten a ton of Japanese food at every quality level. This was good and inexpensive, and we enjoyed it for what it was!

Love this place so much, I will be back!!!! Huge selection of sushi. So much on the menu. The sushi is fantastic, I've never been disappointed. They have things other that sushi too; however, I haven't tried it because I would rather eat sushi when it is all you can eat. It is actually all you can eat. If you want a sushi suggesting I suggest the spider roll. Best roll ever. This place is the best place for sushi in the Midwest.

I went to this establishment with a group of friends and the service was amazing! I eat a lot of sushi, and the quality of fish at Kyoto Sushi is unmatched! I will visit here again, as the staff was very friendly and made sure we had a great time. I really hope we get a Kyoto Sushi near our home in the future!.

Not my favorite Kyoto. Food was not as good as at the others. Staff was efficient, but uninterested. It was as if she was there to do her job and that was it. A little charm goes a long way to make a meal a little better and a tip better as well. I can't quite put my finger on the difference, but the taste and crispness I am used to was not there. Tempura was a little heavily breaded at points and the waitress forgot the sauce several times. I will give it another try and see and will revise my review if it's better on my next visit, but I am not hopeful.
