It's nice and cozy. I suggest ordering lunch box. They're very good and the price is very reasonable. You can choose meat (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp) or veggie lunch box. Try fried ice cream for the dessert, it's awesome! It gets crowded after 12 so the best time to go is around 11:45 or after 1 pm for lunch.

This place was horrible and their service was the worst I have ever experienced. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Had an interview dinner with a couple of folks here. Service was above par, but the food was exemplary.

Nice place to grab a bite after listening to a lecture or attending a late night class. They have 30-50% off a ton of fancy rolls after 5pm, and 2 rolls a person for three people plus dessert for all came out to less than $40, without tip. That's a hell of a deal. The sushi itself is pretty good, but it mostly caters to the American audience with a wide variety of deep fried rolls and desserts. This is not a good place to bring vegans, those with peanut or seafood allergies, or just people seeking out a super healthy meal. The place normally has at least two tablefuls of U of MN students munching away, but has a huge amount of tables and rarely has wait times. Definitely a great option for cheap eats late at night!
