Osaka Sushi & Hibachi Roseville

I arrived well over an hour before close. As the manager showed me to my table, a waitress said, "NO, NOT MY table". (Ok, I get it. Back in my serving days, I would think that too. I just never thought to say it out loud!) [Phew, Ms Say-it-out loud isn't my server.] Surprise! It's Happy Hour! My entire order is 50% off! Even the service was 50%. No complaints on the food. I'll close with a couple ideas for the menu - 1) Don't use the palest-pink ink on ivory paper, in a low lighting/poorly lit restaurant. And, until you make a change, consider telling your servers, 'When customers ask, what something says, don't shoot them an, I-can-read-you-can't look. Reason? Neither of you can see what it says! 2) Add the ingredients of each kind of sushi. Again, maybe tell servers, 'Customers will ask..., probably more then once... Answer politely and so the customer understands what the eff, you're saying'. You go now, we close!

👍👍 Two thumbs up from me. Always great food!! Definitely tied at the #1 position for my favorite restaurant, the other being a completely different cuisine. I absolutely LOVE their shrimp 🍤 sauce (or as members of my family call it "yum yum sauce" 😋) & it goes great with everything. There is a great sushi selection & the hibachi grill is such a fun & entertaining experience. If you've never been to a hibachi grill, I would highly suggest trying it at least once in your life. Is also a kid-friendly place. My 10 year old son says this is his favorite place to eat. He absolutely loves 💞 going here or getting some takeout (especially the rice 🍚 and the sushi 🍣 which he would have as a meal itself given the opportunity) I also like that they offer the convenience of carry out as well as several locations. More reasonably priced than many other hibachi resturants without sacrificing quality of food, service, or a good time. 🎊 Also a good place for a group (especially birthdays!) but would recommend calling ahead if you have more than a few people & want to sit at a hibachi grill.

Every time I go here for lunch I have a great time. The food is always so fresh and tasty. They make it quick but the quality is still amazing. The hibachi is also so great. Always a fun experience and the friend rice is out of this world. Always a fan of the California and philly rolls. I feel like you always get the best tasting fish. Shrimp sauce is also my favorite. I wish I could eat here every single day.

Took our 11year old here because he wants to be a chef one day and he had a great time. Service by wait staff was great! Best Hibachi cook I’ve had! Host/ possibly owner was not friendly. Would not let us sit at a table to wait for friends that were on their way.

Good value, but still a bit pricey. Great hibachi. I do take out once a month. For sushi I go elsewhere, l prefer "all you can eat" rather than "all you can pay".
